Seth Harris is the director of sustainability for Emerson in the Americas, focused on customer and community engagement for decarbonization and the energy transition. The role includes supporting Emerson’s Sustainability efforts internally, helping our customers achieve their goals and amplifying a technology-based voice for industry, research, and governmental groups. He brings a collaborative mindset supported by expertise in regulatory engagement and decarbonization initiatives, data management and digital transformation, amongst other areas, to help customers improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions, and develop and deploy innovative technologies such as hydrogen and carbon capture and storage.
Since joining Emerson in 2005, Seth has worked in numerous roles, including helping customers with their digital transformation initiatives and growing the company’s software and data management business. He also held several management positions, responsible for customer sales and engagement, acquisition integration, technology development around Emerson’s product portfolio including measurement and flow, software and valves.
Seth holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with emphasis in Bioengineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
